Meet The Team

Brandy Segura, MD | Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Segura attended top-tier UCLA as an undergraduate, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. She continued to attend medical school at the renowned David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. After completing medical school, she received General Surgery training at UC Davis in Sacramento, California.

Committed to continuing medical education and providing world-class treatment and care to the Charlottesville community, Dr. Segura has traveled across the U.S. to get hands-on training with experts in aesthetics. With her unique background in nutrition optimization, hormones, and bodybuilding, Dr. Segura has written multiple articles for Bodybuilding.com, rxmuscle.com, and sports nutrition companies. She has been featured on Bodybuilding.com as well as Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine and was dubbed “Transformation of the Year” by Bodybuilding.com in 2013. Now, she is using her training, experience, and artistic talents to help patients look and feel their best.

Emily Barr

Physician Assistant

Emily Barr completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science. She went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from High Point University.

Emily brings experience as a Physician Assistant in primary care, internal medicine, and aesthetics. She is committed to holistic patient care and has received specialized training in Functional Medicine, which she is excited to integrate into her practice at Studio R Aesthetics.

At Studio R Aesthetics, Emily offers expert consultations on weight loss, hormone regulation, gut health, and other key aspects of well-being. Combining her medical knowledge with a passion for personalized care, Emily is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and vitality.

Michelle Morris

Licensed Master Esthetician

Michelle is a Licensed Master Esthetician, performing various skin treatments and beauty services. Starting as a cashier at Ulta over 12 years ago, her hunger for knowledge about skincare and cosmetics grew, leading her to pursue her passion at the Blue Ridge School of Esthetics in Virginia. Michelle graduated, became a Licensed Basic Esthetician in 2015, and began practicing as a Skin Therapist and Makeup Artist. She proceeded to study Advanced Esthetics at BRSE, graduated, and became a Licensed Master Esthetician in 2016. Michelle has continued her knowledge by taking continuing education classes while practicing esthetics full-time. She is a skilled wax and sugaring specialist as well as a Lash Artist.

Michelle is dedicated to finding the best solutions and results for her clients and providing the best possible service experience. Her ultimate goal is to help clients love the skin they're in!

Hannah Bell

Director of Marketing

Hannah is an innovative and results-oriented marketing professional with an advanced knowledge of the Virginia market. Hannah is a proud Hoo with a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies and Entrepreneurship from the University of Virginia.

At Studio R Aesthetics, Hannah leads strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and drive business growth. Her creative and technical skills span social media, graphic design, photography, marketing automation, advertising partnerships, and more.

Hannah loves to help people discover Studio R Aesthetics and all of the amazing treatments offered that leave patients looking and feeling their best after visiting our physician-owned and physician-run practice.
